10/29/05 - John and Hyensook's Wedding at Parsippany Sheraton, NJ - We performed classic instrumental jazz at the cocktail hour in duo and trio formats. For the reception, the couple had requested a strong Irish feel, so in addition to our standard set, we included traditional Irish fiddle sets, waltzes and popular songs. Instrumental newgras and Irish music was played during dinner in duo and trio configuration.

9/12/04 - Dobson/Hollingsworth Wedding at Troutbeck Inn, Amenia, NY - We performed the ceremony and cocktail hour for a beautiful outdoor autumn wedding. Our mellow, jazz-tinged instrumentals set the mood perfectly as guest took their seats. Instrumental versions of the bride and groom’s favorite songs greeted each as they walked up the aisle. For the cocktail hour, we played traditional bluegrass, as the client had requested lively cocktail music.

10/10/04 - Albertson/Stahl Wedding at Cranwell Resort, Lenox, MA - We performed classical string quartets of Bach, Respighi, Handel, and Corelli for the ceremony (all members of Astrograss are classically trained). We also provided music for the Hora ceremony and the first dance, as well as 15 special requests, all of which were part of a 3-set performance for the 4-hour dinner and reception.

10/16/04 - Lori and Wes’ Rehearsal Wedding Dinner - Media, PA - For this hoe-down-themed pre-wedding party, we kept the guests - many of whom were previously unfamiliar with bluegrass - dancing into the wee hours.
